A group of passionate friends, experts in their respective fields that came together to create unique experiences for those looking for a unique vacation in Abruzzo and Beyond.

FABRIZIO, TOUR GUIDE AND ITALIA SWEET ITALIA FOUNDER

Interested in tourism since I worked as a teenager in the summer months as a barman and waiter in Vasto (my hometown in Abruzzo), I decided to study Tourism Economics at university. I spent part of my studies as an Erasmus student in the UK, after graduation going on to work as a consultant, researcher and teacher in tourism in Universities, Study Centers and Consultancy departments in Bologna, Milan and Barcelona.

I decided to return Abruzzo that I could work and live in an area that I loved and contribute to the region by developing sustainable experiences that made the most of its climate, landscapes, friendship, culture, traditions and food.

I love arrosticini (traditional sheep skewers from Abruzzo), pallotte cac’ e ov’ (traditional cheese and egg balls), brodetto alla vastese (traditional fish stew from Vasto area) and cycling inside Punta Aderci Nature Reserve (one of the most beautiful beaches of Italy). Click here to discover more about the story of how Italia Sweet Italia was born and how I turned my passions into a job.
